Kenny Callahan, cameraman/reporter for TV24, and great friend to all at the Administration Building, is given a Calhoun County Proclamation during the January 8, 2009 Commission Meeting
Kenny Callahan of TV24 was given a Proclamation today (January 8, 2009) by the Calhoun County Commission. Mike Mitchell from AM810 read and received the proclamation on Kenny's behalf. The Calhoun County Commission and all the employees of Calhoun County wish Kenny all of God's blessings.
The entire proclamation is listed below:
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Calhoun County Commission to occasionally recognize citizens in our county who make a difference in all of our lives by simply being an integral part of our community; and
WHEREAS, Kenny Callahan has promoted the spirit of county government through his camera and video work with TV24; and
WHEREAS, while doing his job, sometimes under adverse conditions, he has earned the respect and admiration of his co-workers as well as the public; and
WHEREAS, Kenny is now facing some personal issues which merit our prayers and concern.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Calhoun County Commission, all members concurring, that we hereby commend Kenny Callahan for bringing the business of county government to life through the media in a very personal and professional manner.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Calhoun County Commission calls upon the citizens of Calhoun County to remember Kenny and his family in their daily prayers.
