Adoption Information
-
Adoption Applications take 3 days to process, please fill out the application completely.
-
Adoptions are made on an approved applications basis.
-
We do not have an adoption fee.
-
All applicants should be notified of approval or denial.
-
If you're approved, you will need to make an appointment with a Calhoun County vet of your choice to have the animal spayed/neutered and a rabies shot administered.
-
If the animal has already been altered you will still need to make an appointment for a rabies shot if the animal is not current.
-
All animals will be spayed/neutered and a rabies shot administered by the age of 6 months. This is State Law.
-
You will call us back with the date and time of the appointment. All appointments need to be made for 3pm or later Mon - Fri (Spay/Neuters can be dropped off the night before an AM surgery).
-
We will drop the animal off at the vet; you will be responsible for retrieving the animal and paying the vet bill.
