Pleasant Valley 7th grade Civics students attended the
Calhoun County Commission meeting. Eighty plus students along with their teachers,

The Calhoun County Commission recognized Linda L. Mann, executive secretary for the McClellan Development Authority, for ten plus years of dedicated service to Calhoun County.
Linda plans to retire in early 2010.

The Calhoun County Commission and Commissioner Eli Henderson recognized
Coach David "Wormy" Haynes for his support (over 20 years) and professionalism to the
Coosa Valley League, Wellborn Football for Youth.
Congratulations to Coach Haynes and his 2009 Junior-B Champions.
