Important Information about the Federal Stimulus Act of 2008

As most of you probably know, President Bush recently signed into law the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. This law provides tax rebates to more than 130 million households.

The payments will start in May 2008. However, to receive a payment an individual must file a tax return. Many people in our community may not have filed these forms, such as certain seniors, veterans and other low income individuals.
