Chairman Eli Henderson is awarded the
Marine Corps League, Chaffin Detachment 1329,
Marine of the Year

During the January 26, 2012 Commission Meeting the local Marine Corps League awarded Commissioner Eli Henderson the "Marine of the Year" for the period of January 2011 to January 2012. Commissioner Henderson was also given an award for his contributions to the Marine Corps Reserve in support of their yearly "Toys for Tots" program. If you've ever met Commissioner Henderson, you also know he once served proudly in the United States Marine Corps.
