Students from all walks of Calhoun County visit the Commission and some individuals are recognized for accomplishments and awards.
10 year old breaks running record
Jase Bell, a 4th grade student at Oxford Elementary School, recently set a state record for 9 year olds in the half marathon, and set national and state records for 9 year olds in the 10 mile race. Jase is seen here with his father receiving a Calhoun County Proclamation from Chairman Henderson.

1st place winners from the 4H Contest held December 9, 2008 were recognized for their achievments during the Commission meeting. There were seven winners total in the following catagories; photography, nature ornament, 4H design, recycled container, and beef cookoff. 4H winners from Dec 9, 08
